Drawing Chairs: Workshop + Exhibition
Chairs are so much more than simple objects we sit on — they hold the presence of people, the rhythm of daily life, and the quiet poetry of design. In this special evening workshop, we’ll slow down and rediscover the beauty of the ordinary through the act of drawing.
Using dip pens and watercolor, participants will explore expressive linework and playful washes of color while capturing the unique character of different chairs. From elegant curves to sturdy wooden forms, chairs invite us to notice details we often overlook.
This workshop also takes place alongside my exhibition Cheers to Chairs, which celebrates chairs as both functional objects and artistic muses. You’ll have the chance to sketch surrounded by these works, deepening the experience of seeing chairs not just as furniture, but as symbols of gathering, rest, and daily stories.
No prior experience is required, and all materials will be provided. Just bring your curiosity and enjoy an evening of creativity, inspiration, and community.
